Herman Miller's Space Utilization Service Receives 2008 Industry Excellence Award from CoreNet Global

The Space Utilization Service is based on a patent-pending, wirelesstechnology developed by Herman Miller to measure space occupancy inbuilding environments. Sensors temporarily attach to theunderside of chairs or work surfaces and continuously collect movementdata to provide results that may be studied to improve workflow andspace usage. Receiving this award qualifies the company for the distinguished H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator's Award, which will be announced atthe CoreNet Global North American Fall Summit in November.
Configura Launches CET Designer 2.0

used by Haworth and Teknion dealers and, May 19, will be launched by
Steelcase. A partnership with ProjectMatrix provides CET Designer users
access to more than 80 percent of the products in the commercial
furniture industry.

OFCDesk To Hold Interior Design Competition At NeoCon

Participants will be asked to use OFCDesk's Interior Design CAD (IDC) along with Steelcase products to showcase the flexibility and ease of use of IDC within a limited floor space. OFCDesk will display a real-time construction of the winning
office layout at their booth while simultaneously displaying computer
