6.26.08 | Dalton, GA | Shaw Hospitality Group won the IIDA/HD Product Design Award in the flooring/carpeting/rug category for its Floor Architecture Collection at HD 2008 Expo & Conference. The award is given for excellence and innovation in product design for the hospitality industry. The collection, designed by Shaw Hospitality Senior Stylist Pamela Rainey, was inspired by her series of black and white photographs that depict Mid-Century Modern architecture in Palm Springs. Each of the carpet samples on view in the exhibition booth’s curatorial display was paired with the corresponding black and white photograph.

Designed for use in buildings with light-gauge steel frame construction, CSD EARLY EXPOSURE, can be applied over corrugated steel decks, giving architects an economical means of designing midrise buildings up to 10 stories high.
