CIDA Board Of Directors Adopts New Standards
7.1.08 | Grand Rapids, MI | CIDA, the Council for Interior Design Accreditation Board of Directors, adopted new quality
standards for interior design higher education programs that prepare
graduates for entry into the profession. Professional Standards 2009
elevate the concepts, such as critical thinking, global context for design, collaboration and creativity, and professional values deemed most significant for

New School Announces Launch of Environmental Studies Program
6.26.08 | New York, NY | The New School announced that it is launching
a new undergraduate degree program in Environmental
Studies which will bring together urban ecosystems and
sustainable design. Through the program, Bachelor of Arts students will be able to choose to
concentrate in urban ecosystems or public policy. Both degree programs are
cross disciplinary and include fieldwork, internships, and collaborative
final projects.
