Daroff Design To Do Interiors Of 1706 Rittenhouse Square Street

9.18.08 | Philadelphia, PA | Daroff Design teamed with Cope Linder Architects to design 1706 Rittenhouse Square Street, a residential condominium tower in Philadelphia, PA. The tower offers 31 full-floor residences with balcony terraces, a fitness center, a mezzanine conference center, sauna and lap pool. 

Construction Begins At 56 Leonard Street, NYC

9.18.08 | New York, NY | Herzog & de Meuron designed the first high-rise tower in the firm's 30 year career at 56 Leonard Street. The high-rise is a 57 story residential condominium with 145 residences, each with its own floor plan and private outdoor space.  Occupancy at 56 Leonard Street is anticipated in late fall 2010.

EMCOR Group Awarded Phoenix Children's Hospital Project

9.18.08 | Norwalk, CT | EMCOR Group's subsidairy, University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. (UMEC) was awarded the mechanical systems contract for the expansion project at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. MEC will install the mechanical systems for the expansion of the 11-story patient care tower and will utilize its Preconstruction and Design Assist Services, including full 3D CAD/BIM.

Skanska Attends Ribbon Cutting For Richard Stockton College

9.17.08 | Parsippany, NJ |  Skanska USA Building Inc. attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ.  Skanska was the construction manager for a dormitory project and RMJM Hillier was the architect.

Thornton Tomasetti Honored For Chicago Project

9.12.08 | Chicago, IL | The 2008 Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel awards program (IDEAS2 ) from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) honored the 156 W. Superior multi-family residential development in Chicago, IL. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in engineering and architecture on structural steel projects around the country. Structural engineers for the project were Thornton Tomasetti, Chicago. The condominium project is a national winner in the category of “Projects Less than $15 million,” only one of  three around the country to earn an award in this classification.
