9.17.08 | Parsippany, NJ |  Skanska USA Building Inc. attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ.  Skanska was the construction manager for a dormitory project and RMJM Hillier was the architect. 

9.12.08 | Chicago, IL | The 2008 Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel awards program (IDEAS² ) from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) honored the 156 W. Superior multi-family residential development in Chicago, IL. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in engineering and architecture on structural steel projects around the country. Structural engineers for the project were Thornton Tomasetti, Chicago. The condominium project is a national winner in the category of “Projects Less than $15 million,” only one of  three around the country to earn an award in this classification. 

9.10.08 | Portland, ME | Mercy Health System completed the first phase of its master plan created by Francis Cauffman Architects. The firm also designed the buildings for the campus, a $49.5 million short stay hospital and a $16 million medical office building.
