Maritiem & Seafood Industry Museum To Be Designed By One Of Biloxi's Own

Collaboration Architecture designed the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The new museum will be divided into three functional blocks. The southern
block contains gallery and exhibit functions, the eastern block houses the
auditorium, meeting rooms and administrative areas while the western block
contains “Into the Storm,” a historical exhibit on hurricanes that
replicates winds and tides, requiring a 900-square-foot reservoir tank.

Innovative Civic Building Breaks Ground

the groundbreaking for the City of Vista Civic Center, a municipal building designed for community
and civic uses. Scheduled to open in 2010, the City of Vista Civic Center will
consolidate city offices, an emergency operations center that doubles
as a community room and event space, and the city council’s chambers
into a single, environmentally innovative facility.
