10.17.08 | Chicago, IL | The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) announced the addition of the IIDA Institutional Forum and the IIDA Knowledge Forum. These two new Forums replace the IIDA Education and Research Forum to best serve the broad spectrum of IIDA Members’ areas of practice. The IIDA Institutional Forum is being led by Forum Advisor Stacy Reed and Phil Bulone will serve as Forum Advisor for IIDA Knowledge.

10.14.08 | Chicago, IL | ASID and IIDA met for an historic first time meeting. The full board leaders of the American Society of Interior Designers the International Interior Design Association gathered to discuss the future of the Interior design profession and issues that face each organization and its members.  ASID and IIDA will maintain a collaborative approach to joint initiatives that support the profession of Interior Design, and continue their dialogue about expanding opportunities for increased interaction.
