8.25.08 | Bronx, NY | Gran Kriegel Associates received a Merit Award from the AIA New York State for its design of the new Lighthouse Charter School. The program celebrates design by New York State Architects for their creativity in solving design problems for their clients and to generate greater public interest in architecture.

8.22.08 | Washington, DC | ASID Foundation trustees granted funds to support the Council for Interior Design Accreditation project to study the accreditation process and develop support services for programs seeking accreditation. The goal of the project is to introduce improvements to accreditation services that will enhance the value of engaging in the process and support a seamless transition to new accreditation standards in fall 2009.  

8.21.08 | Los Angeles, CA | The American Society of Interior Designers - Los Angeles Chapter will host “The Coming Out Party” on October 2,2008 from 7-9:00 pm at the Knoll Showroom, 10351 Santa Monica Boulevard, Suite 310, Santa Monica, CA. The  event will serve as a forum for industry leaders and vendors to meet and interact with Southern California's newest emerging commercial designers, and also to honor commercial interior designers who have made a significant contribution to the industry.
