Sustainable Design Assessment Team Issues RFP for 2009 Program
7.31.08 | Washington, DC | AIA's Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) program is
requesting proposals from community applicants for 2009. The SDAT is
a program that brings together architect-led
multidisciplinary teams to work with community leaders and
decision makers to develop a vision and framework for a sustainable future by providing technical assistance and process expertise. The final decisions will be announced in December 2008. Proposals are due

ASID And Interiors & Sources Magazine Announce Bloom Awards
7.30.08 | Washington, DC | ASID, the American Society of Interior Designers, in partnership with Interiors & Sources magazine announce the inaugural year of the Bloom Awards and is calling for entries by Sept. 15,
2008. An award dedicated to recognizing the achievements of sustainable
products in interior commercial design, the new program will choose a
product winner in five categories: furniture, flooring,
