CIDA Board Of Directors Adopts New Standards
7.1.08 | Grand Rapids, MI | CIDA, the Council for Interior Design Accreditation Board of Directors, adopted new quality
standards for interior design higher education programs that prepare
graduates for entry into the profession. Professional Standards 2009
elevate the concepts, such as critical thinking, global context for design, collaboration and creativity, and professional values deemed most significant for

RTKL's Jennifer L. Barnes Named Facility Planning And Design Forum Advisor

Barnes, Vice President and Director of Interiors
in RTKL's Baltimore office, was
named Facility Planning and Design Forum Advisor
for the International Interior Design Association
(IIDA). She will begin her two-year term in July
2008. She previously served as President of the
Baltimore Chapter and was instrumental in its
merger with the Washington Metro Chapter, thereby
creating a new Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
