6.26.08 | Holland, MI | William W. Bundy was named CEO of Trendway Corporation by the Trendway Board of Directors.  Mr. Bundy will continue to carry the title of President that he was given in 2007. Mr. Bundy joined Trendway in 2002 as Vice President and General Manager of the Systems Business Unit and in 2005 became Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Trendway, he was Senior Vice President at Miller SQA.

6.26.08 | Zeeland, MI | Brian Walker, President and CEO of Herman Miller will be a guest on CNBC series, 'The Business of Innovation' Episode will air Monday, June 30, 2008, at 9 p.m. EST. In the final episode of CNBC's five-part series, "The Business of Innovation," Mr. Walker, will discuss the company's global business model and strategy for driving innovation within new and existing markets. The episode also will highlight some of the company's iconic and recent products and a number of Herman Miller's West Michigan facilities. The series is hosted by Maria Bartiromo. 6.26.08 | Chicago, IL | Martin Festenstein joined the Chicago office of NELSON as Project Director. Mr Festenstein has more than 25 years of industry experience and is known for his work in legal workplace planning and design.  Prior to joining NELSON, Mr Festenstein served as aPrincipal and Project Director for Gensler in Chicago. 

6.26.08 | Seattle, WA | Kimberly Frank was promoted to Senior Associate for GGLO, a Seattle-based  design firm. Ms. Frank's experience as an interior designer and project manager spans multifamily housing, hotels, conference centers, corporate, and retail tenant improvement projects.

6.26.08 | Chicago, IL | Jennifer L. Barnes, Vice President and Director of Interiors in RTKL's Baltimore office, was named Facility Planning and Design Forum Advisor for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She will begin her two-year term in July 2008. She previously served as President of the Baltimore Chapter and was instrumental in its merger with the Washington Metro Chapter, thereby creating a new Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

6.24.08 | Chicago, IL | The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) inducted Mitchell E. Sawasy, executive vice president and studio/design principal of Rothenberg Sawasy Architects, Inc. in Los Angeles as the association's president for the 2008-2009 term, beginning July 1. Mr. Sawasy succeeds John Mack, senior partner at NYC-based HLW International.  Derrell Parker, Co-founder and Interior Design Studio Principal, Parker Scaggiari, (Las Vegas) was elected president-elect. Other board members include: Viveca Bissonnette, Vicki VanStavern, LaRayne Lundell, Laura Tribble, David Hanson, Allen Parker, Cheryl S. Durst.

6.24.08 | Green Bay, WI | Gregg Kent, a 25-year veteran of the contract and retail furniture industry, joined KI as a dealer representative in Southern CA. Mr. Kent’s company, Worksettings International will represent KI furniture and wall solutions.  Mr. Kent most recently was Vice President of Sales for one of Herman Miller’s largest office furniture dealerships. He also served as a Worldwide Accounts Manager for Steelcase.
