PB's George Munfakh Receives 2008 Baker Award

president with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), is the recipient of the 2008 Wallace
Hayward Baker Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The Baker Award is given annually by the
Geo-Institute of ASCE for outstanding achievement in the geotechnical field. Dr.
Munfakh, who heads PB’s geotechnical and tunneling service group, was recognized
for “his work on creative applications of innovative ground modification
techniques and his contributions to the advancement of ground improvement
engineering.”
Gerald O. Stenzenberger Named CEO bulthaup
4.26.08 | Germany | Gerald O. Stenzenberger was appointed Chief Executive Officer of bulthaup GmbH & Co KG, Aich, replacing Wolfgang Steib, Managing Director for Marketing and Sales, who resigned to pursue
another opportunity. Immediately prior to
joining bulthaup, Mr. Stenzenberger was in charge of the German holding of the
Swiss Franke Group, and was responsible for all divisions in Northern, Central
and Eastern Europe as well as Australia. Mr.
Stenzenberger will also be CEO and president of bulthaup Corporation, the US
division, while Doug Hall, based in the US, remains as vice president, general
manager responsible for all US sales, marketing, finance and operations.
