Daniel Jacoby Joins FXFOWLE

4.28.08 | New York, NY | Daniel Jacoby joined FXFOWLE Architects as Design Director in the Interior Studio. In addition to overseeing all of the design work of the Studio, Mr. Jacoby is currently serving as Lead Designer on an interior fit-out for the New York office of Flack + Kurtz, an engineering firm with which FXFOWLE often collaborates. Mr. Jacoby's portfolio includes the Lester Dundes Interior Design Award for Moet Hennessy USA, a 2000 Design Excellence Award from the Society of Registered Architects, a 2007 Interior Design Best of the Year Award and a 2007 Neocon Gold Medal for the Tuohy Uffizi Collection.

Trendway Names New Regional Manager

4.28.08 | Holland, MI | Kathryn Grace was named Western Regional Sales Manager for Trendway.  Ms. Grace will be responsible for the sales activity in the Western United States including California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. Grace joined Trendway in November 2001 as Senior Market Manager for the Los Angeles area.

PB's George Munfakh Receives 2008 Baker Award

4.28.08 | New York, NY | George Munfakh, a senior vice president with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), is the recipient of the 2008 Wallace Hayward Baker Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers.  The Baker Award is given annually by the Geo-Institute of ASCE for outstanding achievement in the geotechnical field. Dr. Munfakh, who heads PB’s geotechnical and tunneling service group, was recognized for “his work on creative applications of innovative ground modification techniques and his contributions to the advancement of ground improvement engineering.”

Gerald O. Stenzenberger Named CEO bulthaup

4.26.08 | Germany | Gerald O. Stenzenberger was appointed Chief Executive Officer of bulthaup GmbH & Co KG, Aich, replacing Wolfgang Steib, Managing Director for Marketing and Sales, who resigned to pursue another opportunity. Immediately prior to joining bulthaup, Mr. Stenzenberger was in charge of the German holding of the Swiss Franke Group, and was responsible for all divisions in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe as well as Australia. Mr. Stenzenberger will also be CEO and president of bulthaup Corporation, the US division, while Doug Hall, based in the US, remains as vice president, general manager responsible for all US sales, marketing, finance and operations.
