2.29.08 | Canton, GA | Bill Grant, Grant Design Collaborative's President and Creative Director, was selected to judge two competitions for the IIDA. The annual Interior Design Competition recognizes outstanding interior design, honoring design professionals in the categories of corporate, educational, healthcare, hospitality, and retail/residential. The Will Ching Design Competition recognizes professionals who work in firms of five or fewer employees. Judging for these competitions will take place at IIDA's offices in Chicago's Merchandise Mart, March 1 and 2.

He will work with the Retail/Mixed-use Practice Group to provide services to the firm's local and national retail clients. Mr. Russell joins Cubellis from Jacobs Carter Burgess in Boston, where he was a Project Manager in the Retail Centers Practice Group. 

2.29.08 | Chicago, IL | Cedric Van Den Haute was named Product and Brand Manager for Schréder Lighting USA. He also serve as liaison to Schréder Group G.I.E.'s Research and Development department in Belgium. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Van Den Haute was employed by the Schréder Group G.I.E. for nearly six years. 

2.28.08 | New York, NY | Paolo Cravedi resigned as Managing Director for Kartell US in order to pursue new career opportunities. Before joining Kartell, Mr. Cravedi served as Managing Director for De Longhi America.

2.28.08 | Conyers, GA | Leni Schwendinger will deliver the keynote address for the 2008 Festival of Lights USA. Ms. Schwendinger's speech, entitled “The Luminous Landscape, An Artist’s Approach to Design,” will be delivered at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 5th at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The Festival Of Lights, a celebration of light as art, will be held March 7-8 in Olde Town Conyers, GA and will features live music, food, and amusements for children. 2.28.08 | New York, NY | Stuart Piken was named vice president and northeast water and infrastructure market leader in the New York office of Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB). Mr. Piken joins PB after a 30 year career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, most recently serving as deputy district engineer for the New York district.
