8.22.08 | Toronto, ON | Teknion Corporation received a Product Award in the Best of Canada Design Competiton for its District modular office furniture system and a NeoCon Green Stars award for its Synapse wood side chair from Interior Design. 

8.22.08 | Green Bay, WI | KI announced several international projects in which the company has participated.  KI provided Bonham's, a fine arts auction house, with Perry stacking chairs for the multi-purpose lecture theatre at its New Bond Street headquarter, London, UK.  Ki also provided the storage and filing requirements for AIB Groups Bank Centre Headquarters in Ballsbridge, Dublin, Ireland. In Bournville, Birmingham, UK, KI worked with Cadbury on a specific color pallet to compliment the colors of its products and brands for its Heritage office.

8.22.08 | Chicago, IL | AGATI Furniture congratulates Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, NY, for achieving a LEED Silver rating from the USGBC for its B. Thomas Golisano Library.  Designed by Leo A. Daly, the library features custom AGATI tables, study carrels  and dictionary and atlas stands.

8.21.08 | Green Bay, WI | KI, in partnership with The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, is sponsoring Smart Office 4 on September 17-18, 10-4pm in its London showroom in High Holborn. Smart Office 4, part of the London Design Festival, is an exhibit of eight furniture design students who were challenged by Dr. Lynn Jones of the Buckinghamshire New University to respond to the word, "workspace."

POSH is a designer and manufacturer of office systems, which include seating, systems furniture and storage solutions, for the AsiaPacific region. The agreement will become effective October 1, 2008

8.20.08 | High Point, NC | HPFI, High Point Furniture Industries, hired new representation for Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Alvarez & Associates, based in San Antonio, TX, will represent the company's products in Texas and RLC-Rick Lowe & Company will cover Arkansas and Louisiana. 

8.20.08 | New York, NY | KnollTextiles introduced its latest Crypton Green fabric line for the fall collection. Creative director, Dorothy Cosonas designed two upholstery fabrics, Kaleidoscope and Compass and two cubicle curtains, Lanterns and Garland. Included in the collection is a third cubicle curtain, Sanctuary, designed by the design studio. All are Greenguard certified and may contribute to LEED certification.
