7.1.08 | Passaic, NJ | Light Restoration Glass supplied by Bendheim’'s Restoration Glass division was selected for the Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library restoration, a project currently underway in Biloxi, MS. Bendheim provided 209 panes of mouth-blown Restoration Glass to restore the windows and front and back glass doors of Beauvoir, the last home of Jefferson Davis. The home was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

A 7% increase in sales for the quarter and a 350 basis point improvement in operating income, combined with a 12% reduction in the average diluted share count, drove a year-over-year increase in fourth quarter earnings per share of 42%, to a record $0.71. For the full year, sales were up 4.9% and earnings per share were up 29% to a record $2.56.

6.26.08 | Morris, IL | ProLogis, the world's largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, and Kraft Foods, one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, announced today that an 800,000 sq. ft. building in Morris, IL and developed by ProLogis has been recognized for advanced environmental design by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The building is now LEED-CI Gold certified and is the largest facility of its kind in the world to achieve this certification.

6.26.08 | Holland, MI | William W. Bundy was named CEO of Trendway Corporation by the Trendway Board of Directors.  Mr. Bundy will continue to carry the title of President that he was given in 2007.
