5.8.08 | St. Louis, MO | TORK Design, a new furniture and lighting company, founded by a photographer, a former toy designer and roller coaster architect, and a custom home builder, recently opened, with a goal to identify visual and functional pieces that connect with the consumer on an emotional level. In addition to its eclectic design in furniture, the team has also createded a system of wireless illumination. 

5.8.08 | Chicago, IL | AGATI Furniture provided the furnishings for the Ramsey County Library in Maplewood, MN, and the Rhode Island School of Design's Fleet Library in Providence, RI, both of which received the 2008 American Library Association (ALA) /International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Library Interior Design Award. The Ramsey County Library was the winner of the public libraries over 30,000 square feet category. Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)'s Fleet Library took the award for outstanding historic renovation project (adaptive re-use).

5.7.08 | Dalton, GA | Invision Carpet Systems added two patterns, Hot Spots and Cool Bars to its collection. Both are offered in broadloom and modular and are made with Invista's Antron fiber. Hot Spots is a tip sheared loop that merges linear lines with circles of varying sizes, while Cool Bars brings a linear dimension through a bar pattern using a subtle color gradient.

5.6.08 | Sarasota, FL | Vista System International was recently ranked # 2 on 2008’s top healthcare sign companies by leading healthcare magazine: Healthcare Building Ideas.  In the February issue of Healthcare Building Ideas, Vista system was ranked # 2 with 1,000 healthcare clients. In another chart, featured in the magazine, Vista System was ranked # 5 with healthcare projects billings of $5,000,000 during 2007.

5.6.08 | Chicago, IL | AGATI Furniture completed the furnishing of the main library at Santa Clara University in California. The library features Curtis panel back chairs and Boalt tables and chairs in its main spaces and the tables are customized to include power plugs for each patron.
