3.6.08 | Toronto, ON | Teknion Corporation received LEED Gold for Commerical Interiors for its San Francisco showroom, which officially opened in September, 2007. Created by Vanderbyl Design, the space uses recycled materials and maximizes natural light. The primary wall treatment is an organic pattern water-jet cut from panels made of recycled white plastic bottles.

3.6.08 | Glen Raven, NC | Glen Raven, a manufacturer of performance fabrics, unveiled the name for its new distribution division: Tri Vantage. In May, 2007, Glen Raven acquired long-standing business partners The Astrup Company and John Boyle & Company, two of the nation's largest distributors of fabrics ,hardware and finishing supplies for the awning, marine, sign and casual furniture industries. After several months of consolidating operations and completing the merger, the new organization has announced its new identity and brand with Tri Vantage.
