PPG Architectural Glass Shares Study Results
1.17.08 | Pittsburgh, PA | PPG, a producer of glass products for commercial construction commissioned a study by the Architectural Energy Corporation to compare the energy performance of low-e glass to several commonly specified high-performance architectural glasses. The results indicate that glass can save architects and building owners up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in upfront capital cooling equipment costs when it is specified instead of competing products. The study also shows that CO2 emissions can be reduced by thousands of tons over its lifetime in a commercial building which has specified glass.

Decca Hospitality Goes Green

and custom furnishings to new, environmentally conscious green standards by the end of this year. Decca's manufacturing operation will be the first in Asia to meet these environmental standards. The company's initiative will also ensure that its products
