Workplace 2008 Schedules Keynote Speakers

IFMA Announces New Chapter In Abuja, Nigeria

3.28.08 | Houston, TX | IFMA (International Facility Management Association) formed the Abjua Chapter of IFMA in Abuja, Nigeria, approximately 800 miles from Lagos, the location of IFMA's other Nigerian chapter. The new chapter formed a five-person executive board, led by Samson Opaluwa, president, and Collins Osayamwen, vice president.

EMCOR Expands Supplier Management Program

3.18.08 | Norwalk, CT | Emcor Group expanded its Supplier Management Program through the Company's Facilities Knowledge Center. The Center provides online management tools and technology to maintain and improve building operations, reduce costs and increase efficiency. Of note is the United States Postal Service's 10 year contract with Emcor, which began with 8,700 sites in 4 states and which now has expanded to cover all 32,000 USPS locations.
