HOK Wins Urban Design Firm of The Year Awards

4.24.08 | Shangkai | HOK's Asia-Pacific practice accepted the Urban Design Firm of the Year award in the 2007 Asia Pacific Real Estate Awards program, April 10 at the Westin Shanghai Hotel, sponsored by the AsiaCRE commercial real estate organization. HOK also was named a semi-finalist in the "Architecture Firm of the Year" and "Interior Design Firm of the Year" categories.


Vitra Hires Two For San Francisco Office

Gensler Opens Austin Office

4.17.08 | Austin, TX | Gensler opened a third office in Texas, located at 221 W. 6th Street, Suite 1150, Austin, TX, 78701. The Austin office will be led by office director Todd Runkle, who worked in the company's Washington DC, Detroit, and Houston offices from 1986 to 1999 prior to returning to Gensler last year. He is joined by project manager John Mapes, AIA, who worked in Gensler's San Ramon, California office from 2000 to 2004.
