D.C. Workshop Highlights Trends And Best Practices For Public And Private Sector Facilities

The theme of the two day event is, “Achieving Organizational Objectives Through FM,” and will address  topics including facility management best practices, sustainability, asset management and managing government facilities. EMCOR Golf Charity Raises Funds For Missing Children

7.27.10 | Boston, MA | EMCOR Services Northeast, along with J.C. Higgins and BTE, presented a $10,000 check to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at the EMCOR In Greater Boston 3rd Annual Golf Invitational. EMCOR’s national “Taking KidSafety To The Street” program was launched 5 years ago and since that time, EMCOR has helped recover 186 children throughout the U.S.

URS Wins Contract For Red River Army Depot

IFMA Foundation Names 2010-2011 Board Of Trustees

Stephen Ballesty, director at Rider Levett Bucknalls, Sydney, Australia, was named foundation chair. World Workplace 2010 In Atlanta

IFMA Announces 2010-2011 Executive Committee And Board of Directors

7.1.10 | Houston, TX | The International Facility Management Association announced its 2010-2011 executive committee and board of directors. Beginning July 1, Francis J. Kuhn will serve as the new chair.  Rounding out the executive committee are Kathy Roper, IFMA Fellow, associate professor of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Building Construction Program, and Marc S. Liciardello, vice president of corporate services at ARAMARK. The new members of IFMA’s 2010-2011 board of directors are:
