retail services. Indianapolis ranked highest in both the small category of airports with
fewer than 10 million passengers a year and also highest overall in the
entire study.

2.23.10 | Washington, DC | The American Institute of Architects announced the nine recipients of the
2010 AIA Young Architects Award. Young Architects are defined as
professionals who have been licensed 10 years or fewer regardless of
their age. The award honors individuals who have shown exceptional

their careers. The Young Architects Award will be presented to the

The Fishing School. Humanscale contributed 90 Cinto chairs and 16 CPU holders to the non-profit institution that provides underserved children and families in Washington, DC. The Fishing School was half of a two-part renovation project
located in two different states and totaling more than 10,000 sq. ft. Humanscale’s donation provided seating and technology solutions and helped meet the project’s environmental challenge.

received LEED Canada Platinum
certification from the Canada Green Building Council. The facility was
designed by LMN Architects, Seattle, WA, with Vancouver firms Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership and DA Architects & Planners
as architects of record. The venue is serving as the broadcast media center for
the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. In addition, the Vancouver Olympic Village
received LEED for Neighborhood Development stage 2 Platinum certification
from the U.S. Green Building Council.
