Joel Berman Glass Studios Creates World's Largest Glass Skis

2.19.10 | Vancouver, Canada | Joel Berman Glass Studios was commissioned by K2 sports to create the world's largest pair of all-glass skis. The 16-foot-tall skis, designed with K2's signature blue, white and red color scheme, were installed on the exterior of Mr. Berman's studio on Granville Island, the heart of Vancouver's arts community, in celebration of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics,  February 12-28.

Mannington To Recycle Graphics From 2010 Winter Games Into Flooring

Daroff Design Celebrates Grand Opening Of Philadelphia Airport Terminal DE

2.18.10 | Philadelphia, PA | Daroff Design Inc + DDI Architects, PC participated in the grand opening of the Philadelphia International Airport’s Terminal D/E Renovation and Expansion project. The $300 million project links and renovates Terminal D and Terminal E with a new four-story terminal offering improved passenger amenities and baggage screening. The terminal expansion project, which began shortly after the attacks of September 11, 2001, resulted from a masterplan created by DDI, a women-owned firm, showing how Terminals D and E could be connected to enhance security operations and to facilitate the screening process for the traveling public.
