wall systems by AIA New York members. The selected design will be built
at full-scale and featured for three months in the double-height space of
the Center for Architecture’s storefront as part of its 2010 theme of the
year exhibition, Integrate : Innovate. The curtain wall installation will be used as a hands-on tool for
teaching how buildings are
constructed, highlighting the interconnectedness of components and

of $413.7 million and a net loss of $10.8 million for its FY09 fourth quarter
ending Jan. 2, 2010. Full-year FY09 sales totaled $1.656 billion, a 33.1%
decrease from FY08 sales of $2.478 billion. Total net loss for FY09 was $6.4
million, compared to net income of $45.5 million in FY08.

2.9.10 | New York, NY | Ahrend USA, Inc. won two Good Design Awards from the Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design, known as the Chicago Athenaeum. One award is for the Ahrend 360 Chair, a recyclable four-legged
arm or armless pull-up chair whose frame, legs and arms are made largely
from magnesium reclaimed from seawater. The second product to win is
philink, a collection of modular, linkable work, workstation,

call to architects to submit their plans for the design of a
$480 million expansion project. The expansion would triple the building's
current gallery and public space. SFMOMA
has raised $250 million of its $480 million campaign to expand
the museum and grow the endowment. The Board of Trustees will make the final project decision in
fall 2010.
