to address US and European indoor emissions testing and certification
protocols. The
panel discussion held during Healthy
Buildings 2009 in Syracuse, NY, is the first of its kind to share information
between USA and Europe, to compare test protocols and emissions limits used in
the United States, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, France and more. The
group hopes to coordinate laboratory testing requirements and outline a set of
unified protocols, so that a manufacturer may truthfully tout its products as a
"low-emitting material" in countries on both sides of the Atlantic.
