announced that U.S. executive Tad Smith is leaving as CEO of

York, NY | Perkins Eastman was commissioned by NYSE Euronext to design the "next generation trading floor". Renovations will be made to the floor's main room, replacing traditional broker booths with modern trading desks, new screens, and workspaces. The
refurbishment plan will continue over the next 18 months. The finished space will likely
resemble NYSE Euronext's new NYSE Amex options trading floor—also
designed by Perkins Eastman.

Andrew Cogan, CEO, Knoll, made the announcement for its specialty businesswhich sells fine leathers to the residential, hospitality, aviation and contract office furniture markets. It is the first year that all the work will be from Kendall. The Governor's Lansing Residence was designed by American architect,
Wallace Frost, and built in 1957 for Howard and Letha Sober, who
donated it to the state in 1969. The artwork will be on display from August 2009-July 2010.

8.19.09 | High Point, NC | HPFI added to its guest/reception seating with the Trados Metal series. Trados Metal
features the same tri-arc arm design accented by fully upholstered
seats and backs as found on the existing Trados wood frame series. The heavy gauge steel frames include steel cross braces
providing a capacity of 350 lbs. per seat. Trados Metal is
powder coated and covered with a clear coat finish and comes in several versions. The collection is available in standard fabrics, vinyls, and leathers.
8.19.09 | Houston, TX | The International Facility Management Association announced the formation of the Religious Facilities Community. The new community will be devoted to those who work as full-time, part-time or volunteer facility managers in their houses of worship to provide a network to connect
with one another and share resources through webinars, roundtables,
benchmarking studies and other continuing education opportunities. An introductory webinar will be held on August 25 at 3 pm EDT that will focus on
religious facility preventative maintenance; stewardship; heating,

nonprofit that established the American College Testing Program, attained LEED-Platinum green building certification for the organization's data center. The 8,000 sq. ft. operations center building includes a
raised floor data center and a geothermal system that

more than 30% recycled content and native prairie landscaping, which
does not require watering, was restored on 90% of the site.
