Inc. won Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) for
three of its products. Silver IDEAs were awarded to cobi and i2i, and a Bronze was awarded to Amia. Cobi and i2i are part of a
recently-introduced category of collaborative seating that combines
aesthetics with performance to facilitate collaboration and innovation. Amia is an ergonomic task chair which flexes with every move to offer consistent
ergonomic support for the lower back. The complete

7.30.09 | Milan, Italy | The Milan Trade Fair announced, according to Reuters, that it
is commissioning the world's biggest rooftop photovoltaic power
installation covering some 270,000 sq. meters. The winning bidder will build the plant for around 70-80 million euros and will pay the Milan
fair a rental fee in return for marketing the power
generated. The winning bid will be announced in September.

state credit on channel glass wall systems. Participation in the 1.5 hour
program is free-of-charge and earns industry professionals 1.5 Health, Safety,
and Welfare learning units (HSW LU). The program also qualifies for Sustainable
Design (AIA
SD) credit, a new continuing
education requirement for AIA
members.
The
course offers a review of the
structural properties and design benefits of channel glass wall systems and
includes sections on performance, installation, current standards, and case
