HON partnered with SmithGroup on the redesign of the showroom. The space maximizes daylight and views with an
open pavilion of flexible zones arranged into four main lateral pavilions.
HON used
recycled materials throughout, including doors, glass, carpet and
custom recycling bins.

UNStudio of Amsterdam, the Netherlands,
revealed its design
for the mixed-use Raffles City development in Hangzhou, China. The
60-story project will include retail, offices, housing, and hotel
facilities . Completion is
expected in 2012, and UNStudio expects the project to receive LEED Gold
certification.

of 23,416 industry professionals and conference participants. The May 2009 event increased attendance by 8.5% and exhibit
booths by 6% from LFI 2007 in New York. The exhibit hall sold out with 476 national and international manufacturers showcasing the latest product designs. LFI featured three product-specific Pavilions and more than 220 hours of courses and seminars were presented.
