Cleanfield Energy to Install Ten VAWT Urban Wind Turbines

HNI To Close NC Facility

7.20.09 | Muscatine, IA | HNI Corp. will close its Louisburg, NC, factory to reduce costs. The plant, which employs 93 workers, will close by the end of the year and work will be moved to other locations. The closing will save an estimated $1.8 million a year starting next year.

Polly Bartlett Earns LEED Accreditation

The Bird's Nest Wins RIBA's Lubetkin prize

'7.20.09 | Beijing, China | The Bird's Nest won the Royal Institute of British Architects' Lubetkin Prize. Site of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 summer Olympics, the national stadium designed by Herzog & de Meuron, with ArupSport, the China Architectural Design and research Group, Arup Hong Kong, and artist Ai Wei Wei, won for the most outstanding work of architecture outside the European Union by an RIBA member.

WAC Lighting Sponsors Solar Energy Decathlon Project Competition
