7.17.09 | Garden City, NY | WAC Lighting is sponsoring a Cornell University
Team competing in The Solar Energy Decathlon, an international,
interdisciplinary design-build competition hosted biennially by the
U.S. Department of Energy for three weeks in October. The 2009 Cornell Solar Decathlon team
includes more than 150 students from undergraduate and graduate colleges across campus, with support from Cornell faculty members,
staff and alumni. Student members are attending five of Cornell's
colleges including: the Colleges of Engineering, Architecture, Human
Ecology, and Agricultural and Life Sciences, as well as the Johnson
Graduate School of Management.

Freedom chairs by designer Niels Diffrient. The Freedom chair prioritizes
