10.3.08 | Southfield, MI | Skanska USA Building Inc. and joint venture partner Barton Malow were named construction manager and design-builder for
the William Beaumont Hospital project. The design firm Harley Ellis Devereaux
will provide the design services for the
558,000 sq. ft, multi-phased project in Troy, MI.
The project broke ground in June 2007 with an expected October 2010
completion date.

services building. Torcon, Red Bank, NJ, specializes in corporate buildings,
biotech and pharmaceutical facilities, academic buildings and healthcare
facilities. The 80,000 sq. ft. facility, designed by KlingStubbins, Philadelphia, PA, will be LEED-certified.

presented within the central courtyard of the fair’s new temporary

10.1.08 | Baltimore, MD | DBI Architects won the PRIME TIME competition to design GSA's Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center Booth. A call to design firms went
out to enter proposals for designing the space and three firms
submitted proposals: DBI Architects, IA Interior Architects and
Stratton Design Source. DBI Architects won the competition
with over 2,900 votes. PRIME DESIGN will be unveiled at NeoCon East on October 29.
