Peabody Office Unveils School of Fashion Design Creations

Thornton Tomasetti Honored For Chicago Project

9.12.08 | Chicago, IL | The 2008 Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel awards program (IDEAS2 ) from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) honored the 156 W. Superior multi-family residential development in Chicago, IL. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in engineering and architecture on structural steel projects around the country. AIA Calls For Congress To Support Incentives

9.12.08 | Washington, DC | The American Institute of Architects (AIA) strongly encourages the extension of the Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Tax Deduction, a federal incentive that provides a deduction of $1.80 per square foot for the design and construction of energy efficient commercial buildings. Set to expire at the end of the year, developers are reluctant to pursue commercial projects because of uncertainties over the extension.
