2.26.10 | New York, NY | Barbara Zieve and Erik Hodgetts joined IA Interior Architects as Design Director and Director of Legal Services, respectively. Both Ms. Zieve and Mr. Hodgetts were previously with Butler Rogers Baskett (BRB) Architects in New York. In their new roles, they will lead IA's legal services group and will be based out of the firm's New York office.

As Associate Partner and Interior Design Director with BRB for eight years, Ms. Zieve oversaw the design of many of the firm's projects.  Over the past two and a half decades, she has been the lead designer for a variety of project types in New York City and abroad, many of which have been widely published. Her extensive portfolio includes installations for law firms, financial services firms, schools, and product companies. She is a GSA Peer for the Design Excellence Program, past Executive Editorial Advisory Board Member for Contract Magazine (2007 - 2009), and Past President of IIDA NY.

Formerly an Associate Partner and Studio Director for Interiors at BRB, Mr. Hodgetts is a specialist in corporate interiors. He has spent the last 15 years successfully planning, managing and executing complex projects. His work has been strongly focused on law firms, and also includes financial companies, non-profits, and educational institutions. A LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Hodgetts has presented on sustainable design topics to the New York chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and as an online panelist for Shift Worldwide.

Ms. Zieve and Mr. Hodgetts have collaborated on numerous significant projects including many prominent law firms such as Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP; Cadwalader LLP; Gordon & Reindel LLP; Paul Weiss Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP; and Pillsbury LLP.  Other notable clients include LIM College, LVMH, The Bank of Montreal, and Vibrant Media.
