Slight Rise In ABI
1.20.10 | Washington, DC | The Architecture Billings Index moved slightly higher last month,
although the index remained below 50 for the 23rd consecutive month.
The score in December was 43.4 compared with 42.8 in November. The
December reading indicates a continued decline in demand for design
services. Any reading above 50 indicates an increase in billings. The
index is derived from a monthly survey of architectural firms by the
American Institute of Architects.
