8.7.09 | Green Bay, WI | KI recently treated Houston’s A&D community to sea, sun and fun with two cruises along the city’s South Shore Harbor. Attendees had the opportunity to network with their peers, see local sites and enjoy fine food and drink. The final cruise in Houston will take place on September 17. KI also sponsored a cruise last month along San Antonio’s River Walk. Firms represented at the various cruises included HOK, Perkins and Will, Architecture Inc., Bennett Design Group, Chesney Morales, Ford Powell & Carson, 3DI and Marmon Mok.

“Our cruise series is a fun, relaxing way to spend quality time with the A&D community,” said KI District Manager, Terry Kaczmarek. “It allows us to strengthen our relations with them and demonstrate our support as their ‘KI Crew’ in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.”

The day’s activities included a drawing held at the end of the cruise for an SS KI ring buoy – with HOK taking home the prized item at the most recent cruise in Houston.
