7.30.09 | LaGrange, GA | Tom Davis has joined Comprehensive Search as a Senior Consultant, working primarily with contract furniture manufacturers and dealers representing the services of Comprehensive Search. During the past 24 years of Tom's employment, 17 of those years were spent in contract furniture, and most of that with Thomas W. Ruff & Co. in Columbus, Ohio; Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In Orlando, he was President of the T. W. Ruff, a Steelcase dealership. His time outside contract furniture was spent in entrepreneurial pursuits principally as the co-founder of a startup, family-owned minority business enterprise with his wife.

Davis will take over the programs with the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance for their 515 member firms, where Comprehensive Search is the approved search firm. He also will coordinate similar programs for Herman Miller Certified Dealers and for Knoll aligned dealers.

Tom replaces Marilyn McSweeney who, after 12 years with Comprehensive Search, is going into career coaching. However, she is still available to assist as needed.
