BJAC’s Design Leader Earns LEED Accreditation

institutional projects, has announced Mark Sealy, design leader and manager of the Charlotte office has been certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This professional certificate recognizes individuals with extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as a familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Sealy coordinates and develops the efforts of the firm's designers for education, healthcare, research and municipal projects. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Sealy is a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) and the Council for Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI).
